Frank Smith

My first real job after Hi school was at Aerojet. Worked in the Dynamics Lab doing vibration test on components of Minuteman rocket. 1969 I moved to Juneau, Alaska. Started to work for the US Bureau of Mines in 1972, worked in two wilderness areas doing mineral inventory. Got paid to go rock hunting. 1974 transfered to the Reno Metalergical Research Center. Became the Facility Manager. 1989 Mover to Sacramento to work for GSA as a GS 12 Building Manager. was responsible for federal building on Capital Mall, I Street, Cottage Way, Post Office buildings in Stockton, Modesto, and Eureka.

Graduated Sierra College. Auburn. Set school record in 220 yd dash. U of Alaska, Fairbanks. U of Nevada, Reno Graduated BS Geography. 2011 ran the 100m dash. age group 70-74 in the Prefontaine Masters Track Meet, 2nd place, got beat by an old man.
